We have literally been inundated with an e-mail asking us to post a list of songs revolving around the topic of money and financing.  We’re not ones to disappoint so without further a due here it is:

In an age of a global recession, money is on everyone’s mind. But money has always been hot topic and it should come as no surprise that it has found it’s way into popular music. Love it or hate it, money shapes a large part of our lives.

The contrast is interesting as the older songs about money paint a much more negative picture of money while modern songs are more positive about money and wealth.
